Hi!, Long time audiophile here. Not really interested in home theater stuff but often use my 2 channel stuff to watch TV or Netflix. I have 2 speaker sets: Martin Logan Montis & Harbeth M30.1. The Montis` are used for Orchestral music and the M30.1s for smaller ensemble music or jazz (anything from Miles to Diana Krall)... and both are used for pop/rock, depending on the spur of the moment. I often swap between 2 amps to drive these just for the sake of it: Musical Fidelity M6si and a Naim Supernait 3.

Lately I`ve been thinking of a speaker upgrade but but almost fell off my chair when I saw the prices ...so I`ve been looking at DIY stuff and I`m starting to seriously consired it!

Hi delnia19, and welcome to AC! ...not sure how much I'm allowed to say here, but if you're interested in DIY go and check out the GR Research circle if you haven't already! Or just give Danny Richie (owner of GR) a call, and I'm sure he'd set you up with a world class kit, or at least send you in the right direction!
