Hello-
New member here from Chicago. I discovered this site while trying to set up a hifi system for my first house. I grew up in a family that stretched itself greatly for good music -- we almost died driving a terrible used car that was 1/4 the cost of our audio system (priorities!) -- and as I build a system of my own for the first time, I feel really fortunate that I can finally buy some beautiful old used speakers that my family could not afford back then.
I look forward to participating more in the Audiocircle community going forward! I've been learning a lot as I research components for my system, and hope to contribute some of my own knowledge (I'm a physicist who does a lot of work related to signal processing).
