I have on loan to evaluate a brand new Kitsune HiFi LCR-1 MK5 Signature edition phono stage these are the same people that distribute the Holo Audio products like the May Dac, I have become friends with the owner Tim and he sent me the newest model to listen to. I would buy it but I am trying to keep my phono preamps to a minimum.
This phono stage is excellent and I have tried a lot of them, If anyone is interested it retails for $1500 and he will take $1300. The LCR type phono implement the RIAA equalization using passive components (inductors (L), Capacitors, and Resistors) between the active gain stages, in much the same manner as a loudspeaker crossover, instead of doing the equalization within an active stage. Theoretically that does less "damage" to the signal, where "damage" can mean different things to different audiophiles. Proponents of LCR type RIAA correction circuits believe that they sound better, pure and simple. Compared to my $3900 Modwright PH9.0 it is very close in sound, very good detail, imaging, decay bass with a touch of warmth.

The Trading Post guidelines state that the Trading Post is intended for "used,  personal items" that the owner wishes to sell. This appears to be a new, demo item not owned by you that an outside dealer/manufacturer is selling.

The Trading Post guidelines indicate the approach to be taken "Outside dealers/manufacturers aka Industry Participants are entitled to create ONE thread in industry introductions. You can post any items, sales, deals, promotions in that thread only. You can not post anything with a connection to your business in the Trading Post."
