6BM8 / ECL82 matched quad descriptions
« on: 17 Mar 2021, 01:17 pm »
Hi everyone, I am a newbie and just started to AudioCircle today. I have Antique Sound Lab AV 8 Monoblocks which has 6BM8 / ECL82 QUAD. When I search to buy a matched quad I noticed two different descriptions.
one says;  "quad with pentode conductance's matched"
other says; "conductance of pentode section is matched to make a quad"
Could anyone tell me if there is a difference and if there is which one is advised?
Thanks in advance and all the bests.

Welcome to AudioCircle, Ozcan!

The two statements have identical meaning.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
