I am pretty sure I still have a collection of Mad in the front porch. One of my favorites was the Plastic Baby Bubble Protector.

I like those jokes about hero getting old.
For me, Tintin is a hero !

Tintin is the best. I was introduced to the Tintin books when I was around 12 years old. I am now 70. I have a set of the Tintin animated series on DVD which are true to the books. It took me a few seconds to realize who the old guys were in the cartoon. Snowy did it for me to realize who they all were, though he must have broken all records for old age in a dog.

My Saturday morning smiles were fostered by Supermarionation (created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson). Could not get enough of Thunderbirds, Fireball XL5 and Stingray.
Be well....
