After all of these years of constant soul searching, I have finally come to the realization that I may have purchased my "audiophile" cables based on their cool looks and the very nice box they came in

It seems that the weight of the world has just been lifted off of my shoulders.

Being the youngest of 3 boys, I was "High Tech" and bought a cassette player. Both my brothers had the 8 track players.

I remember modifying my first 8-Track player with an option to not change tracks automatically - this way I did not have to get up and do it manually when I wanted to repeat a favourite track.

I had a four track player before 8 track was available, the pinch wheel was in the player, not the cassette and got so dirty after a few plays that the wow and flutter was terrible.

Hi.
A very long time ago, I bought an 8 track player (Maybe Pioneer)
that I paid more than the value of my used Ford Comet 1963 was worth !
I bough two or three cassettes and sold the unit....
Just didn't like it.
