Thanks for the reply rhart, at the moment I'm also using Van den Hul speaker cables (Magnum) which I had still lying around somewhere. I'm using about 20 cm on each side and havn't really compared other cables (would it make a difference on such short lengths?) Since I've been moving the Bryston 7B ST's very close to the PMC monitors, I've noticed a huge increase in power reserves and dynamics. The sound became more effortless as they say.
Between pre and power amps I'm using MIT 330 Proline XLR interlinks (12 feet). It is of the medium impedance type, which describes the input impedance of the power amp. Although the Bryston power amps have what they describe as a low input impedance, I've read on some internet review that these cables worked very well with a Bryston 4B ST.
I wonder if anyone (at Bryston) has experience with these 'input impedance-specific' interlink cables and would care to describe his/her experiences with these cables with built on boxes??
Oh yes, between Musical Fidelity Nuvista 3D cd-player and Bryston BP20 preamp I'm using a DIY cable.
