For sale is a one-of-a-kind pair of Hawthorne Audio OBsession 8 Reference Monitors in a cast cultured marble/ceramic open baffle design. The primary design goal was for superior musicality and enjoyment in a small or medium size room. They are truly a transcendent listening experience.
The OB8’s use very high quality Beyma AMT’s and Beyma 8″ mid woofers on a well thought out baffle. The tweeters alone are $339 each:

The outriggers are a nice touch, as well. You’ll need to pair these speakers with subs that can go 150Hz or higher.
The 32 lb. OB8’s have an honest 98 db sensitivity with an easy impedance curve. The crossovers and asymmetrical wings were designed by Danny Richie of GR Research. The crossovers have been tricked out to the max and consist of extremely high-quality crossover components.
The OB8's have a purity that unveils more natural sounding vocals and micro-details. The OB8’s are true to the recording. In fact, their greatest asset is the ability to get the instruments right.
