New Guy From Oklahoma - Introduction

Hi everyone,
My name is Andrew, I'm from Oklahoma, and I love all things "vintage" audio.  The bigger the better!  If I can carry a piece of audio equipment by myself without injury, I probably shouldn't bring it home.  I have a real soft spot for Marantz, Fisher, and Bozak - my Dad's equipment that I grew up listening to.

The core of my current setup is a McIntosh C28 preamp into a MC 2105 power amp driving a pair of Bozak B-4000 Symphony speakers.  My turntable is a Harman Kardon T55C with Shure M70EJ cartridge that I would like to upgrade.  I guess I should admit that my primary source is my smartphone connected to the C28 preamp with a 3.5mm to 2 RCA cable.

 Not the flashiest system, but it sounds good, and I think it's kind of cool that my entire system is made in USA.

Welcome to AC, Andrew.

Funny how you mentioned Fisher. Just a couple days ago my wife and I were visiting old friends of ours. It was  the first time I’d been in their home since they bought it about five years ago. Their audio system was an old ‘The Fisher’ KX-100 integrated amp powering a large pair of JBL three-way speakers. That’s the first time I’ve heard a Fisher amp. They played fifties and sixties Jazz, and it sounded very nice.

WELCOME -I am in OKC and my first pair of speakers were Bozak shelf type and we loved them! That would be over 50 yrs past  :)
