Apparently, there is going to be an audio fest in Tulsa, OK April 29, 30 and May 1st.

Anyone planning on going?  This is the first I've heard of it, but it looks like it will be worth the drive.

The Dallas Audio Club yahoo group as well as www.audioroundtable.com has some details as the official website, www.greatplainsaudiofest.com, is not up yet.

Regards,

Lee

I was looking at the photos page on the GPAF web page, and there are several products I had been wanting to hear. This should be a good opportunity to hear and compare several products that are sold only on the web, such as Pi speakers and Brines Acoustic speakers. My wife will be with me to guard the checkbook   :nono:

I'll be driving up from Houston with several items, pictured at http://fredt300b.smugmug.com/gallery/446198

Thanks. There's another guy Wayne and I are trying to convince to drive up from Houston with some samples of his gear. It's Vlad, of Audio Mirror. He recently demoed a preamp and DAC at a Houston Audio Society meeting and they looked and sounded superb. The only problem I could find with is that his products are so reasonably priced that the typical Absolute Sound reader might find it too inexpensive to merit a place in their audio jewelry display.

THe Audio Mirror website is at http://www.audiomirror.com/
