Zobel network & active crossovers

Has anyone here tried removing the Zobel from the OPS of an amplifier used with active crossover?

It looks pretty clear to me that the zobel is aimed mainly at smoothing the impedance response of a downstream passive crossover, but a dynamic driver also has inductance & I wonder if a zobel is really needed because of the driver's inductance... and what the removal of a zobel would do to amplifier stability where the amp drives only a single driver without passive filter network.

Any ideas or experience with this issue?

Cheers

The zobel on the output  is a low pass filter which stops RF from getting into the amplifiers feedback loop.  It is there to make the amplifier stable and its prescence is sonically benign.  It should not be removed.
