Would 1977 NOS Realistic 40-1286 Full Range Speakers work in .67 cabinets?

Hello. I just came upon a pair of 1977 Realistic full range 8 inch speakers. I was wondering if these would work in a pair of Parts Express .67 cu mdf woofer flat pack cabinets? Hope so. What would they sound like? Ger.

fs (Hz) = 51.77
Qes = 1.669
Qms = 6.122
Qts = 1.305
Re (ohms) = 7.56
Vad (liters) = 48.57
BL (T-m) = 4.333
Sd (cm^2) = 214.0
SPL (dB/W/m) = 87.9

High Qts means very large sealed box, aperiodic loading for not quite so large, or open baffle.

Did a quick search and this DIY Audio Projects forum thread seems to agree.  They calculated an optimum box about 2 cubic feet and suggested that would give a very full midrange sound.  That said, their prevalent suggestion was also to go open baffle:
