Actually I have some audio Envy power cords and was curious if anyone on this site had tried other AC plugs and IEC’s on them and what their impressions were. I am happy with the performance of them.

Thanks for the Advice I’m really not looking to change or improve the sound. Just have a curiosity if anyone has tried different connectors on the Audio Envy power cords they are Quite good for the money. The plugs however look to be of Chinese origin. So I was wondering if a higher Quality plug could improve them. I bought the cords used and got them fairly cheap.

What's your room like?  Size, finishes, setup?  Small/square/hard with loudspeakers/listening positions near walls are all bad.

Suggest reading Floyd Toole's "Sound Reproduction" (either/both editions) to learn how loudspeakers/subwoofers behave in-room.  Toole is recognized as one of the world's leading acousticians.  Virtually every room has severe bass peaks/dips.  Multiple carefully placed subwoofers is the best way to address the issue.

Thanks I’ll look into that. I actually have great sound in my room I was only trying to hear from anyone who may have tried different connectors on an already great product. Finally I just called Captain and he explained the plugs he chose for their neutrality and were made to his spec. Given the sound quality of his cables that was enough for me.
