Hello from Northern California

Hello from Northern California

Evening you lot!

I'm from NZ originally, but in California I'm very much enjoying:
a) more people around who are into audio.
b) more people around who have more money than me who sell the things they've owned for five-and-a-half minutes only.
c) waves/white noise to reset myself with when I've been listening too long.

At the moment my gear is a mix of American (Von Schweikert, Pass Labs), British (dCS) and German (T+A).
The things that the gear plays for me: absolutely everything. I've not yet found a genre of tunes I don't like. Some just require a bit more digging...

welcome... yes there is value is used audio gear, especially in a community of known, knowledgeable folks

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's using this time away from other people to perform the sorts of comparisons that never made the cut when I had to leave the house.

(Also to browse classifieds, of course...)
