I own this piece of gear and it is a game changer for my system.  As previously stated, it can do wonders for a poor sounding room.  I only use this for room correction, up to 500 Hz.  I do not have my subs in my system right now but it handled them well when I have them plugged up.  I do recommend a linear power supply.  I bought 1 from DX Engineering for less than $100.  Good luck with the sale - it is a fine piece of gear!

Thanks all - at least for the positive comments. It is a unique piece of equpment that is very powerful and easy to use. As with anything that is so versatile, it can be misused. As I mentioned in my first post, and attributable to many of the alleged poor reviews, is that people set the gain way too high and then complained that it was noisy. Simply using the gain function properly resolves this and there is STILL PLENTY of gain. It does not claim to be a power amp so if it is not used that way, it works wonderfully.
I have lots of sound absorbers all over my room (my wife is a saint btw) to tame the "liveness" and boominess but it wasn't doing nearly enough. The Anti-Mode 2.0 CHANGED EVERYTHING FOR THE BETTER. Clarity, soundstage and tight bass in one fell swoop. It is

I used the equalization/room correction and it just blows me away how much it improves the sound in my room. My room is appx 30 x 25 and @ 10 ft on the long wall, the ceiling goes from 8ft to 10 ft in one step. I have glass pretty much all along two of the walls, wood floors and carpets and I have skylights - a difficult room to say the least and the Anti-mode 2.0 fixed it!!!
