I had one of these way back when. It was a fun and funky-different unit. It has a kuhl factor.

No doubt it is has a kuhl factor BRM. haha Even at retail ($1,700) I'm amazed at the build and sound quality. I ran it into an outboard DAC (Mytek Brooklyn) for awhile but ended up preferring this unit's tube output stage. Either way, as a transport or stand-alone, it is excellent.
