"Sinfonia Antartica" by Ralph Vaughan Williams. The musical story of the brave but foolhardy demise of the Terra Nova Expedition team led by Cpt. Robert Scott in 1912. I only listen to it on the coldest of days, and the climax never fails to make me shiver.
