The good, the bad and the ugly.......
« on: 9 Mar 2005, 08:17 pm »
Well good news first.

1. My parents will lend me 1000$ to ship my system to germany which i can repay once i get all settled in again

2. Everything will be shipped and crated

3. I can leave in properbly 1-2 weeks

The bad news.

I tried to make up my my friend and he accepted, but the logic from my parents makes me see things a bit more clearly and i am unable to leave with a friendship intact.

The ugly.

For the next week or so, my mental stress and anguish will be hell. Also to regain my life in germany will not be easy, but i have some aces up my sleve.

The posters at the Planar board on Audio Asylum think you're unhappy with the RM30's.  Why not let them know how you feel?

Let them talk, i had soooo much trouble with those people. I even had trouble when i owned (2x 3.6R's, and .5's) not to forget i had a 1.6 too.

Those are the same people that told me that the mix of Jolida and Krell wont work, and that i didint spend enough time with the 3.6R to set them up right. Yeah right, only a month ;-)

PS: The RM30's are an exellent speaker !!, so is the 3.6R. Its a matter of personal taste, but for my taste currently the RM30 is the better option. I will try an RM40, once i get all settled in. But i do have another 3.6R and .5QR in germany in addition to the RM30 system. So i am a happy camper      in the Audio ways

I'm sorry you can't work something out to stay in America, but I'd glad to see you can take your new babies with you.  Once you get back to Germany, I hope we still see you around at AC.

Glad to see everything worked out for you!  You should go over to the planar asylum and explain the differences between your 3.6's and RM 30's. I for one would like very much for an honest appraisal and you may end up helping others over there at the same time.  Best of luck and keep a positive attitude:)

I'm sure things will work out for you.  You seem to be pretty sharp for a 21 year old.

I'm very happy for you (and actually relieved... I was just about to make an offer for your entire system and drive down to pick it up).  I want the 30's, but still need some time to plan everything out, so now I'm not forced to live with the Cherry finish or your components (even at a bargain price).

Best of luck to you, but I doubt you'll need it.  It's your friends (and the USA's) loss that you have to go back.

Let me get this straight, you don't have a job, you're living with so called friends. You don't have a car. You don't have a green card.
You spend $4500.00 on speakers and then complain about spending
$30.00 on some fiberglass room treatment, when someone suggests a cheaper route. You call yourself king vmps or something. You send 50
photo's when 5 would have done. Then you call your friend a backstabber!

You need to see a psychiatrist, you are bi-polar

Dear Jack D. (Diagnosis  :?: )
WOW!
He is 21
Bipolar is not the right diagnosis.
Niave..maybe
Optimist...probably not anymore

Here is the story  :o  bright eyed to America...  w/ his friend then heard lots of  :duel:  over his  :violin:  then  :bomb:  and found himself  :surrender: now  :banghead:  realizing   :stupid:
so then  :finger:  no more friend, hello Germany with his  :thumb:  system.

Good luck Florian, the time zone is a downer.  But at least we have our systems!

Lol, thats quite funny and i see how that would throw someone off. But ok, i am sick of going through this again and again and again.

All i do is, exchnage what i own. I sell what i own and buy new stuff with that "exact" budget.

If you dont know the circumstances, than please dont judge.

PS: Many people like many photos, i for one hate it when looking for something in particular and there are only 5 pics.
