Battery replacement in Verizon FIOS Box

My battery is in need of replacement in FIOS box (12v, 7.2 ah, sealed lead acid), any recommendations as to brand and where to buy ?

Call Verizon and see if they'll replace it for you.  I think they replaced mine for free once.

no free replacement, I spoke with Verizon this afternoon. They said they would send me one for $48, I know I can do better than that !

I bought a FIOS battery from Amazon in 2015 - current price is $26.

That happened to me... you really don’t need the battery, just yank it.
You’ll have a red light on, that’s all.
No workie if the power goes out, but who cares.

Have a FIOS box her. What does it use a battery for? I know, power, but if nothing connected to it works, what does it need to stay on for...
