Hey guys,

I've made the tough decision to put my Dennis Had amp up for sale. It's just not seeing as much use I'd like. I bought this new from Dennis and it has been used sparingly always in 2nd or 3rd systems. I have a nice selection of tubes which can be included/negotiated. Currently it's running Svetlana Winged-C 6550's as power tubes, and at Mullard Blackburn notched plate GZ34/5AR4 rectifier. I have the stock tubes also which are JJ's for the smaller tubes and the new production Tung-Sol 6550's. If you're serious we'll discuss tube options.

This amp is a tube rollers dream. You can read about it. But it's awesome. It will make 2-8+WPC depending on tubes.
The newest version of this amp Dennis is selling for nearly $1800.

I'm asking $1350obo with the stock (TS6550's and JJs) tubes. PP Friends & Family or Venmo. Ships from KS.

 The Inspires were a good buy when Dennis started offering them. The 1250 price tag was reasonable. It seems like each time he builds a new one the price goes higher as though he is trying to find the breaking point. They do sound nice Good Luck with the sale

Yeah... I slept on it long enough that I wound up paying up a bit. But they really are worth every penny IMO. He sells them as fast as he can build them, so you're likely right in that he's trying to find the balancing point of profit and pace.

I've been running a pair of Inspire monoblocks in my downstairs system for 2 years.  If you have the right speakers they are incredible.  Based on performance alone, Dennis should charge double what he's charging now.  $1350 is a bargain.

Here is the list of tubes Dennis had when I bought this one... I have a lot of additional tubes that can be discussed by a buyer. 6L6 and 6V6's... KT120s, other 6550's, Amperex EL34's and a smattering of rectifiers to go with them including a Mullard Notched Plate 5AR4/GZ34 that sells for $100 by itself easy.

$1350 for an amp of this quality and of recent construction by a master is a great deal.  If one has the right speakers and room for it, the musicality is stunning.

If I didn't already own three Inspire amps, I'd be interested.

Inspire amps are sort of like peanuts. One isn't enough but two isn't either.. That's why I have five of Dennis' amps. I am listing three for sale this week. Thin the heard a bit.
