Just wanted to share some photos of covers my wife made for my recently completed X Statics. She grasciously agreed to place them in our  family room which required steps be taken to protect them from the occasional marauding grandchild. The covers are of a blue jeans weight fabric. The baffles protection is a ⅛ inch plywood strip heavily padded which snaps closed on the side. Little or no contact with the speaker baffles. Unsnapped they go on and are taken off with ease.

That's pretty cool. I bet a lot of people would love to have those for their speakers.

That is a great idea, I once had a grandchild who poked a pencil through the ribbon of my Carver ALS!  Expensive repair.  Good to see your wife has your back, definitely a keeper!
