Not sure of your budget ?
But this Modwright Modified Cambridge Audio Streaming DAC looks to be getting noticed by some heavy hitters..
I have a Oppo 205 modded by modwright  that I have been happy with..

I’ve always been a fan of sorts of Modwright.  I really thought I was going to get one of their preamps years ago.  Now a Cambridge Audio Streaming DAC with a proper power supply and other upgrades is definitely intriguing.  I have always typically tended towards trying to support the “little guys” in the audio industry.... ie. Don Garber, John Hogan, Terry Cain, Bruce Edgar, Gordon Rankin..... Definitely going to ping Modwright..... thx for the tip!!!!

I like to support the little guys as well.  And Modwright makes great products and his customer service is out of this world. I bought a used Pre years ago that had a few issues and he barely charged me to fix it. Class A Gentlmam.

I looked at that new unit as well and if I were in the market I'd give it a strong look.

Ok, just to follow up.....

I took the plunge on the gently used Mytek Brooklyn Bridge DAC/Streamer/Preamp that was on Audiomart last week.  So far I would say the interface is a little “clunky”, but I was able to get things up and running pretty quickly with WiFi, Spotify etc.  So my college-age daughters who are now home for an extended winter break are happy.... although the streaming quality of Spotify is meh.... I would say the phono preamp for my MM turntable is pretty good.  I was digging all the vinyl I was throwing at it as enjoyed a very nice Napa Cab tonight.

I will play around with some direct USB high-Rez files this weekend.  Looking forward to how this DAC sounds compared to my now sold Benchmark DAC2.  Fun stuff...!
