Frustrated with the state of the world, Chris takes out his frustrations with target practice on assorted Christmas-themed cans with live ammunition and pistol. When a spoiled rich kid gets a lump of coal for Christmas he hires a hit man to kill Santa.
The excellent actor Walter Goggins (Boyd Crowder in Justified, The Bourne Identity, Django Unchained, Lincoln, The Hateful Eight, Ant-Man and The Wasp) is the hitman.
The talented Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Without a Trace) is Chris's wife.
Great actors, a muddled script, action and murder, this is one weird holiday film.
RT reviews are mixed, critics panned the film at 44% but the audience score is 79% so you may just like it as a cathartic release.
