For your consideration, an Allnic L-1500 in black. This unit has just come back from my tech where he inspected it and tested it to make sure it was as good as I knew it was, and there would be no issues after the sale. The tech pronounced this unit as good as new and some new tubes were installed as long as the top was off, just as a matter of drill....
Please read the reviews online about this unit. The professional reviewers are so much better with words, and those reviews are spot on as to the marvelous performance of this preamp. My only reason for the sale is that I wish to move up the Allnic line and the newer Allnic preamps are substantially more than the 1500 so I have to make some room and get some cash to move up, as well as to keep the bride happy.
This unit is rated an "8". I am the second owner. I can find no marks on this unit. It came to me without a power cord and frankly, a good aftermarket cord is so much better than anything that would have come with this unit but if you need a power cord I am sure I can find something that would work (though not as well as the Allnic units seem to prefer an aftermarket cord that can give the preamp some more "juice").
I am not sure how this will be shipped. I have a FedEx account but recent policy changes at both FedEx and UPS as to claims and claim handling make me leery of shipping with either. USPS is the only shipper that has insurance. We can discuss shipping at time of purchase as I want to work with the buyer but I also want to make sure the preamp arrives safely. I have the original box but this preamp will definitely be double boxed, and then some.
Shipping is to the continental US only. No PP fees as it is against PP policy for me to collect those. But, no lowballers either. This is not a fire sale and if I have to keep this, I am not going to lose sleep about it. Make an offer and we can discuss it but those who like to ask for free shipping, 20-25% off the asking price and my first child will have to look elsewhere. Thanks for understanding.
