Kismet Monitors

Selling my much loved Kismet Monitors. I have owned quite a few monitors, Focal BE, Tekton Impact, Philharmonitors, Fritz, Studio Electric, Canton DC-9.2, Evoke... These are the ones I kept throughout the merry-go-round. The only ones that pretty much do not need a sub woofer. They have been lined with No-Rez from GR Research to control cabinet resonances, and have the tube connectors installed, also. Sorbathane footers are attatched. These are in very nice shape. I have moved on to floor stand speakers and the monitors have to go. Asking 1700.00, plus shipping from 06370, CT.

Do you own or have you listened to Danny's Studio monitors? If so how do they compare?

I have not heard his new monitors. I do have a pair of his N3s that I built with the NEO 3 tweeter. The Kismets, IMO, have way better bass, more of a sparkle on the high end and a much fuller sound. These are great drivers, as you know...

Sold, people. I will miss these, but in this hobby, you can only have 2 or 6 pair of speakers. If I didn't move to floor standers, they would still be here. I hope the buyer enjoys them as much as I did!  :drums:
