Hello, new to Audio Circle

Hello, new to Audio Circle

I am a music listener rather than a collector despite having 25,000 LPs, 7,000 CDs and 7,000 78s.  I have a high end system but not close to SOTA.  My listening room cost twice as much as my equipment and was custom designed by Acoustic Fields.  It is a multi-"laminated" design with no openings (doors are also 16" thick of same design) with multi-cavity interior, activated carbon chambers.  Basically, built-in bass traps.  Bass is deep and smooth.   The room is tremendous.  Looking to upgrade to Von Schweikert VR9 Mk II speakers soon.

Impressive room.  Wonder what the room dimensions are.  Have you read Floyd Toole's "Sound Reproduction" 3rd edition, the consummate audiophile guide to learning how loudspeakers/subwoofers behave in-room.  In it Toole covers the advantages of using multiple subwoofers. 

My humble room follows Fibonacci ratios (8ft x 13ft x 21ft), uses insulated staggered double stud interior partitions, has an exterior insulated fiberglass door with weather seal, and is equipped with an insulated/lined flexible supply air duct (can't hear the furnace fan).
