The 135 cubes has the Salomie circuit is in the input stage of the amplification.  The pre amp of the 135 cubed is the same as a B17 and not the B17 cubed, although most of the preamp section is the same.  I am running a B135 cubed with a 3B3 and it sounds great.  I will say that my SP3 with the cubed amps sounds a bit better.

Yes, the SPDIF coax does, not sure on the toslink.  This was a running change on the later versions.  I don’t know the serial number of B135 cubed unit that first received the newer board but perhaps James can provide that information from engineering.

...thanks, Servingko...but i was asking about the 135 Squared not Cubed.

but if the 135 Squared should accept 192/24 as well it would be great :thumb:

Sorry, I obviously had B135 cubed on my mind.   I had a B100 and a B135 squared for a while.  The squared and cubed 135’s effectively share the same preamp section (BP17) which to me were an improvement over the B100 (BP16) to my ears.  The B17 cubed, while similar to the preamp portion of he 135’s, is a much more versatile preamp.
