My new guy introduction
« on: 24 Oct 2020, 05:51 pm »
My interests are in the vintage realm. I'm not a full on audiophile but I do have some decent equipment. I have a couple of different speaker pairs that I use, Dynaco A25's that I purchased new in 1975 and a pair of Bozak B4000 Symphony's that I got a few years ago for a good price, They are huge and my wife hates them, larger than the Infinity's they replaced. I've wanted the Bozak's ever since I heard them in 1974, I couldn't afford them then and the company was out of business by the time I could. Finding used on the west coast is not easy and prohibitively expensive to ship from the east coast. The Bozaks are driven by a Denon POA 2400 with a Carver CT-17 and a Dual 604 turntable. The Dynaco's are driven by a Pioneer SX 850 that I got new in 1976. I also have a Pioneer SX-1250 that I lucked for $300 about 10 years ago. I'm also a musician and a sound guy for a surf band in San Diego area (not my day job).

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
