Hi Everyone,  New member with a growing interest in hifi. Enjoy cobbling together systems from disparate kit. Currently Emotiva HD2 7 Channel Amp, Paradigm monitor 11 speakers. On the lookout for pursuing more knowledge and hunting for few Hifi stuffs. Thanks

Welcome!

Knowledge is power.  What kind of listening do you do?  Late night, loud weekend stuff, what musical genres, what is the room like (big, squarish, lots of hard surfaces), how far back do you listen, solo listening, what media do you use (vinyl, CD, streaming), how much do you listen.  What's your budget?

After 50 years, always suggest shopping for loudspeakers first to match the room and your tastes.  The power amp is next, it's job is simply to best serve the loudspeakers.  Digital sourcing has gotten cheap, quality DAC's are cheap too.
