i believe cv181 runs at a higher filament voltage than the we6sn7, so check your particular piece for compatibility...

I've got both WE6SN7 Plus and the Pavanes in my Don Sachs Model 2 as supplied by Don. I think screener has a DS Model 2 as well, so he ought to be fine.

yes don says if his preamp is the version with the black metal insert in the top of the unit, it can run cv181 higher voltage tubes
