This was custom built by Pine Tree Audio. Spectacular company! He also builds all my cables. I have had this in my system for about 5 months. It's as simple and as pure as it gets. If you're a fan of passive pre-amp's this is perfect. It's transparent, very resolving dead silent. It has a set of fully balanced XLR inputs and one set of fully Balanced XLR outputs. It also has a pair of unbalanced RCA outputs for added flexibility. It also has an Alps RK27 potentiometer which is a fabulous volume pot. A lot of thought and care has gone into this pre-amp. Only selling because I am moving on to a radically different active, tube pre-amp from Audio By Van Alstine. A lot more expensive.

Hi Jeff,

Your current passive preamp has a 10K Ohm potentiometer. Passive preamps vary their input/output impedance based on where the potentiometer is set.
