SOLD Damn Fine amp sounds wonderful, I will be kicking my own A$$ for letting this one go but unfortunately new toys require I let some stuff Go So have a Look. It has Cardas Binding Posts and RCA inputs. The amp has upgraded Caps but I can not recall what they are and I am not taking the amp apart. I got this one basically NEW and it has approx 300 hours on it. The Driver tubes are 7199 and the amp can use several Power tubes EL34, Pretty much any of the 6L6 Family, 6V6, KT 66, Or the KT77. My personal favorite in the amp is the Russian 6p3s (6l6GC equiv) Buyer can choose between the Russian 6l6GC or JJ EL34 from Ruby. the Drivers are Vintage Rectifier has the print worn off pretty sure its vintage as well RCA ?  Amp Location is at my house in NC 28351

I have one of Will's Baldwin Organ amps.  Excellent SQ, dead quiet and reliable.  This looks like a good deal, folks.

Thank you both. The amp is very quiet on my 100DB eff. single driver speakers tou have to put your ear right up to the cone to hear anything. It is a great piece that frankly wont hurt my feelings if it does not sell

Can you confirm whether this one is triode or ultralinear output?  Will has one listed right now on A'gon that looks just like it and is wired for triode output, hence the question.  Also, were you using this one with an active pre on your 100dB speakers?  I run 98dB speakers with an active pre (Grounded Grid) and am concerned about gain.  Thanks.

Hello Yes I ran it with an active pre and infact that Pre was a Transcendent Sound 300B Masterpiece which  has the same gain as the Grounded Grid 12db gain. I had a falling out with Will and can not communicate with him (nothing to do with the amp or amps, difference of opinion on how to verbally deal with / treat potential customers, which escalated & we agreed to part company)
I am fairly sure its wired in UL because Will makes a big deal  of mentioning the triode wired thing and when we were speaking he did not mention Triode wiring and said I could use the several different power tubes. and he mentioned 35 WPC which indicates UL (Triode is 20 WPC to my understanding)  It doesnt really matter with this amp as the first 6-8 wpc of output are all in class A, It switches to A/B at anything higher
6-8 wpc with 12 DB of gain on your or my speakers will be at ear damaging levels. I doubt I ever took it above 5 wpc output my Volume pot NEVER gets above 10:00 Oclock and routinely stays around 8:30 - 9:00 Oclock

I dont think you have the whole story behind the sale you posted a link to. The Seller Spiros (velociracing) had a falling out with Will Vincent Spiros bought a dozen amps from Will Vincent prior to the falling out. Spiros priced the amps low after moving SEVERAL at 1250 and up. He did this to spite Will Vincent who was trying to buy the amps back from Spiros.  He refused to sell to Will and Lowered the price to the 500 in an effort to be done with the whole situation.

I did not buy from Spiros personally,  all the info above came directly from Will Vincent
