Hello Everyone!
My name is JD and I couldn't quite find an appropriate circle to introduce myself, so here I am.
The majority of my experience is with car audio and only recently am I getting into home audio components. Vehicles are challenging due to road noise, resonance, grounding and vehicular electrical noise and then, the angles you are working with.
What I can tell you is that my favorite car audio amps are my McIntosh amps and my Butler Tube Drivers. Gotta love those sweet pretty tubes.
This seems mostly like a home audio site, so going with that I've picked up a couple of portable DACs and I am eyeballing some speakers to work with. I am also really liking this McIntosh MTI100 and I may pick that up.
If this hobby is anything like the car audio side, I'm sure I'll be buying/selling/swapping things out until I find my perfect system...then do it all over again at some point.
