New member Billinga, as in Bill in Georgia. Recently retired (copier trade), married with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Lifelong music lover / student. Began playing music on a Hammond chord organ, which taught me 90% of all I needed to know about scales and chords. Played guitar and keyboards in bands until my early 20’s. First stereo was gutted from an old tube console in the basement.
Today, my main system consists of vinyl and stream playback. For vinyl, I use a Marantz tt15 and various carts into a moon lp3 preamp, into a Marantz pm17. Speaks are Monitor Audio silver 100.
Family room system is yamaha aventage into MA Siler RX6.
Tunes are streamed from XM, Qobuz, and Nas (i ripped all of my cd’s recently).
