I’ve been around audio and groups for over 40 years. Tons of experience with various speakers, amps, cables, etc.  over 400 in feedback on Audiogon, alone.

’ve always tried to make new audio fans feel welcome. I’m taken aback that I have to post in order to be “ included”. I guess this is to keep out those who may not be serious enough or who would bring the level of the community down. However, sometimes I don’t have much to say and look to others opinions.

If those are the reasons, then I guess I understand. To a new comer, it sure feeds the old rumor that audio, esp. hi-end, is an exclusive little clique.
