Hello and howdy from Richmond in the somewhat above average state of Virginia. Stumbled upon this forum from the G&R Research page that I was led to by Danny Richie's YouTube videos (highly recommended). I didn't (and still don't) know a lot about the DIY speaker game, but Danny's videos certainly did open my eyes to the possibilities.
I got back into vinyl about a two years ago and have found I have a serious love for jazz. Have always like Fusion and some ProgRock, but never really knew much about the "Golden Age(s)" of jazz; that has changed.
Since then I'm set up an OK system that I'm pretty happy with, but G.A.S. is always nagging, so it won't be long before I start perusing through the pages of Audiogon for the next acquisition. "It's a sickness..."
At the moment I have: A late 90's Rega Planar 2 (mono deck), Schitt Sol (Nagaoka MP-200), Peachtree Nova Hybrid amp, Schiit Mani, Zu Omen MK IIs (new drivers), iFi Zen Blue (bypassing the DAC - Just using the Bluetooth w/ LDAC) connected to the Schiit Modi 3. (Don't say it.....I know, I'm "full of Schiit").
Anyway, looking forward to reading what other have for their setup and getting some great advice.
