I bought this cartridge new, and have used it on my VPI Classic 1 for approximately 4 years. I won't BS you and profess to know exactly how many hours on it (because I didn't track them), but I will tell you that it still sounds great. If you want to try this well-regarded cartridge for a fraction of the cost of a new one, this is your chance. I recently replaced it with a Zu Denon DL-103 MK2, which is a cartridge I've wanted to try for a while now. I thought about keeping the AT as a back-up, but I'm not one to let perfectly good equipment sit in a drawer ... I'd rather use the funds to satisfy my GAS, and to let someone else enjoy it!
