I finally pulled the trigger and upgraded my living room setup from the Tekton Design Double Impacts to a custom built setup with amps on each driver type, Rythmik F18 subs as the woofers, and using a DEQX HDP-5 to drive it (much more expen$ive in total but lots of fun
and very tweakable).
Sadly, that means the Tekton Design Double Impacts are now homeless and my significant other had made it clear they will not be kept as "extras" in my lab, as much as I'd like them to be. So, they are now for sale.
They are the standard black that Tekton uses, with the upgrade package (better crossover components and cardas binding posts) and gray grills. They are 2 years old, in excellent shape/nearly pristine. I can see no marks on them when I inspect them closely though there could of course be a few super-small ones I cannot see.
I'm in Portland/Oregon and would strongly prefer local pickup since they are big and would be a bit nerve-wracking to ship. I *do* have the original boxes and foam though I'd have to remember how to pack them back in, and in any case will give them to even a local pickup person if they want them.
Price is $2100 for local pickup or $2200 + real shipping cost due to the trouble of packing them.
