RIP, Chadwick Boseman

I was pretty deflated to see that Chadwick Boseman passed at 43 of cancer. :(  He was a fine actor and was still working with kids with cancer up til nearly the day he died.  He didn't get his first major role til 2013 so he didn't leave behind a huge body of work but everything he did was memorable.  RIP, Mr Boseman!  You will be sorely missed.

What a big loss.  I was shocked when I heard the news.

Me too.  From all I could tell he never publicly discussed his cancer.  I think only his family and close friends knew he was ill.  Obviously I didn't know him but he was so affable and gregarious and generous with his time that it feels like a personal loss.  Screw 2020, I'm over it!

RIP indeed. He also played other prominent figures in US history including Jackson Browne, Thurgood Marshall, Jackie Robinson, etc....

Excellent actor and apparently a gentleman through and through.

Best,
Anand.

Awesome actor. You wouldn't think he could pull off a particular role, but then get sucked in, and after the movie was over, you'd say, "damn, he got me."

Colonoscopy saves lives. Check with your doctor and find out the current recommendations. There’s a tendency to not want to talk about this but let’s get past that.
