To all my fellow audio nuts
I hope our craziness somehow transfers to the younger generation, but
I don’t think so. Stock earbuds that came free with iPhones have been
Standard fare for the X gens.

I try to lend my daughters high end ear buds but they do not care. Music
Is a background task for them......proof.  Single speaker stereo Bluetooth
Speakers that I only use in the shower..

May my Revoy A77 my IV work forever.

Cheers
Mike S

Finally I became part of the community

Greetings from New Jersey. I consider myself an audiophile for almost 35 years. I have had more equipment go thru my fingers , than I am willing to admit :-). I have watched Danny's videos religiously since their inception. After all this time, and countless "killer" speakers, I bit the bullet and purchased my first DIY kit ( XLS-Encore). I currently have Tannoy Saturn S8 towers, and FYNE AUDIO F500 bookshelf speakers, with their IsoFlare Duo-cone speakers, up in my main system.

I received my kit 8 weeks ago, and it sat in my garage for 3 weeks. Finally I knocked the project out over a weekend. I have to say, that I am VERY impressed with their sound. I have GREAT equipment, and the Encores were able to demonstrate that...easily. The low end that it produces, sounds like a speaker 3 times the size. On a UHQR acoustic vinyl recording, the tweeter lets you hear what it is capable of. I know they are made from composite wood, but they are twice as heavy as any other speaker, their size. There is ZERO ring or chuffing thanks to the No-REZ and the enclosure.

My question to this community....I have been Bi-Wiring my speakers....because they all have 4 posts and I have 2 identical power amps. Is is BS or is there a sonic improvement from doing this ??
I use the exact same wire and length for all 4 runs to the speakers.

Thanks again to Danny and crew..PS where can I order the new Desktop Kit ? Cant find it anywhere.... :icon_lol:.

Welcome.

Have you been wondering about bi-wiring for 35 years? Personally I don't hear a difference, but if my speakers allow for bi-wiring, I do it. Have to keep up appearances.
