I have been following some of the GR Research threads for months now and hope to build the NX Studio monitors. Any advice you may have for me is welcome. I am not a carpenter but I think I have the tools (and hopefully the ability) I need to complete the job.
I am a retired Database Administrator. I have been an amateur audiophile for decades now. Danny's tech talks and others have been very informative and improved my understanding of acoustic design principles and my overall ability to listen. I think audio interests me because it is a natural synthesis of electrical, mechanical, acoustical and aesthetic disciplines, each of which seems inexhaustible by itself.
