Intro Hello

Hi,

I have been in the audio hobby since high school. Definitely miss the vinyls and cassette
tapes, fun old days.

Recently got back into 2 channel audio. Looking forward to hearing from everyone’s experiences.

So far I didnt know any person that used cassetes and was satisfied with this format, my experience with cassete tapes was even worse than the vinyl LPs, cassette tapes managed to last less than LPs, the background hiss noise was greater than the ticks and pops of LPs and the sound quality was even worse than LPs, a disaster.

Welcome!

Don't miss the surface noise of vinyl. 

My Nak 700 had good sound, but the cassette tapes couldn't transfer to any other machine due to biasing.

Now I listen exclusively to ripped and CD quality streams and am satisfied with the sound (and convenience).
