SOLD!

I bought this one year ago as a backup and never used it. I did just now put it in my system and it functions perfectly!

Nice parts including four Mundorf M-Lytic 10,000uF caps in the power supply. 125w into 8 ohms and 250 into 4 ohms. The front can be turned around for solid black with four screws if you desire. It has no feet attached but I'm including two sets of four each.

Asking $350 including shipping and Paypal to CONUS.

Thanks for looking.

never heard of this class d amp before but if poseidon's voice built it, I'm sure it's great!

It's a nice clean amp for a budget system. One of my first experiments with Class D design. If you have a pair of passive subs you need to power, this would be an excellent amp. A smaller den system or bedroom system would also be a great option. It's based on the Class D Audio SDS254 boards which have a fully differential/balanced input that uses the THAT1200 input circuitry made famous by Bill Whitlock (of Jensen transformer fame). So it is very quiet. Output power as I recall was about ~ 250 watts/4 ohms. You can adjust the overall gain of each channel since it has a pair of potentiometers inside the case. Either the balanced input/XLR or RCA input can be used.

The power supply is tweaked a little, using Mundorf E-lytics as you can see, HexFred diodes, full wave bridge design, so low switching noise and the like, it isn't a generic supply. The input AC also gets some filtration using Paul Kaplan (rip!)'s original Felix boards.

Sorry about the flagrant front panel, and as Chris says, you can flip it around. My builds since then have a nice decorative power switch on the front panel so more plane jane but easier on the eyes. The power switch on this unit however is mounted on the bottom panel, near the center, close to the front panel of the amp, so easily accessible as well.

I am sure Chris will pack this well, as it is a heavy amplifier!

GLWS,

Anand.
