Hi my name is Ales I am new in here .I am interesting in building my first DIY speakers .Where can I buy kit for Super mini speakers ? Thanks Ales

I ment those small electrostatic speakers that people posting building pictures here from last year.But I can’t find anything about them on the web page.

Hi Ales,

If FRM had you steered correctly the first time, the Super Mini DIY kit was a kit from GR-Research (check FRM's links to get you to the GR circle here on AC).  These speakers used two planar magnetic drivers - a revised neo3 (like the original from BG) sourced directly from GR Research, and a BG neo10.  The reason there isn't much for info on these is that availability of the neo10 has been spotty at best.  In any case, checking in to the GR circle and with Danny over there (owner/operator of GR) should get you squared away.  Assuming you can get the neo10 midranges you need, you'll get the rest - including a flat pack of the baffle parts - from GR.

Thank you for all your answers .Those are speakers which I meant .I will wait after virus and see if we will have more speakers available .I will probably start with building x-statics.
Since I am new in this which amplifier will you recommend for beginner .Is it ok to use one for ht and two channel too. Ales

If I was start today again I certainly could buy a good Class D amp, small, no heavy, no heat, no re-tube, lots of transparency and affordable price.
