Howzit is the South African equivalent of howdy, I guess.
My wife wanted a vinyl player for her birthday. I got her a cheapie with speakers; she loves it but it hurts my ears so very, very badly. I wanted to buy an amp and speakers, started reading about how to build them, and disappeared down the rabbit hole...
I never realised that there were so many people doing their own builds! I am no engineer (not hardware, at least) but can help myself a bit technically. Something like the kits on the GR site are probably at the top-end of my current skillset, but I'm eager to give it a go.
Still thinking about what I need though, and weighing up options, which is why I guess I'm here. I already learnt a lot from the videos, and hoping to learn more, so I can make some decisions about which way to go.
