Newbie on site .. Hello everyone

I'm a member of other such sites, to name a few. Headphone com forums, HeadFi, AudiogoN and CAM ( Canuck Audio Mart ) among others.
 Currently I'm a headphone buff ~w a desktop setup for headphones only .. My computer is setup to a 5.1 surround as well as USB DAC/Amp

I'm a buy and try rather than try and buy kind'a guy, because very few if any high end audio outlets in my town ( Toronto being closest, 2 hrs drive there and 2 hrs back.

I've been through quite a few headphones, since being that novice audiophile 18 mths ago or so :-)

I'm here to learn about new equip, old equip, information in general as to audio and to meet like minded folk. Perhaps buy/sell if that's permissible. 

Grey Goose Vodka or any Matinee moves me :-)

After 3 approved posts you'll have access to the Trading Post circles. 

Did headphones while living in the dorms back in the 70's.  Now have a nice room for a music system and a modest 5.1 system that doesn't get used much as not much of a movie hound.

There's never been a better time to get into mid-fi thanks to the high value and convenience digital technology affords.  Streaming services for CD quality feeds, big bang for the buck DACs, and class D amps as examples.  Check out the Cheap and Cheerful circle for ideas.
