Getting close to retirement and working on a 2-ch stereo configuration for an audio room (converted spare bedroom 11.5' x 14.5'). I've ordered a pair of Magnepan LRS speakers and thinking about Schiit Preamp and DAC. I may use an old Emotiva XPA-200 as an initial amplifier or maybe a really old Parasound HCL 1206 (bridged).
At some point, I'd like to try a set of Class D monoblocks or better yet, build my own. I like tinkering in areas I have no experience and enjoy the learning process. Looking forward to to ramping up my learning curve in all things audio.
