It's an audiophile webzine dedicated to equipment and music reviews. They are knowledgable and comprehensive, and will review both ultra high end as well as less expensive stuff. Generally tend to be positive in their reviews; if they don't like something, they will be more muted. The best thing to do is to go to the site and look for yourself. Not sure how they select items to review - maybe Mike can chime in on whether he's been contacted?

Anybody notice that the photo on the link depicted 2 of the SAME speaker, and not a matched pair? :)

Well don't get your hopes up too high. After 2 months, Srajan Ebaen still has not finished his review of the Benchmark DAC and now it has just sort of scrolled off the end of the review bench. All we ever got was his trademark word salad, but all lettuce and no tomato! Here's a link for what it's worth.

I know I'm not 6 Moon's but I have a pair of Sapphire XL's that I will be writing a review on here fairly soon...I would say probably by the end of the month I will have something for you guys!  8)

If I had to guess at a timetable, I'd say about four to eight weeks. I spoke with the reviewer a couple of days ago and he'd just unboxed the XLs. From prior experience, John takes his time and is very thorough. I expect his review to be full of useful information.

I very much look forward to reading more from you about the XLs. I know a lot of folks are very interested in hearing what you have to say.

My apologies to Mr. Ebaen. He has given us his thoughts on the Benchmark DAC (and they are not pretty)  in his review of the Audio Aero Prima DAC.

The reviewer, John Potis, emailed me last night to tell me the complete review has been submitted. I'm guessing it will be posted in the next couple of days . . . . it is a GREAT read  :D
