I have owned and loved the Coincident Frankensteins and also the Audion Golden Dreams. The Golden Dreams are the best tubes I have heard or owned.   They were very dynamic, great tone and great bass.  They were paired with Zu Druids for a very nice combo.  Dead quiet.

Do you could consider order a hand made amp to Alan Eaton.
He will made all the details you want.
The OPTs are made by our AC member Aldovan from Steel Labs.

Hey Charles

Though mine are long gone, look for a pair of Welborne 300B DRDs. As I mention in the article, I've listened to a ton of SET's and the Welbornes sat firmly at the top of the heap in regards to clarity. Almost zero coloration of the sound.

Hey!

Not really a 300B, but I've been using my Welborne Labs Apollo Monoblock based on KR Audio 300BXLS pumping out 18wpc since 1999. Right now I have KR Audio 842VHD tube in them. The down side is, I'm limited to replacement tubes from KR Audio or Emission Labs and they cost an arm  Still... I still love the sound of my Welborne Lab Apollo after all these years.

Anyway, I actually thought about getting a pair of the 300B DRD, but I didn't have money for another pair of amps back than when they first came out. Love the simplicity of the 300B DRD. I think they are based on Electra-Prints design or perhaps, they worked together on this.

Sadly, Welborne Labs no longer around, but I think you can find the schematic of his amps out there if you want to built one yourself. Maybe I'll build a pair someday.

Worth mention the Commom Sense 300B not expensive, it said to have a neutral sound not the warm sound as usual in tubes amps, I dont like it but some people may like.

I had this amp and it’s just Ok even with upgraded nos tubes. Very high gain something like 32db can cause noise issues with high sensitivity speakers. Not bad for its price but if your looking for SOTA this amp won’t do it for you.

I can highly recommend Fatkit83-8's monoblocks on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/300B-single-end-tube-mono-blocks-custom-hand-made-great-sounds/202915715387

Ling Xiao Nan (Fatkit83-8) personally hand builds every amplifier from well known designs. He even hand winds his own transformers. His amplifiers are beautiful and he stands behind his work. I purchased a pair of 17W 300b PSET monoblocks from him last year and I could not be happier. They have all the qualities I love about 300b tube amps: beautiful lush midrange and sparkling clean highs; bass is there too but I use solid state amps on my woofers.

Give him a shot - at $880 a pair shipped you cannot go wrong - you will not be disappointed.

It seems to me he is one of the few or only one that shows the build underneath.

This is one of the PSET monoblocks he built for me. I’ll get a few better pictures tomorrow.

I absolutely love the Allnic a311m - (PX25/300b/AD1).  And have owned them long before I became a dealer for them.

The M-2500 push-pull have become more popular.  (PX25/300b/KT150)

https://www.audiophilia.com/reviews/2020/4/22/allnic-audio-m-2500-monoblock-amplifiers

If you have not heard the PX25 tube before, this is something I highly recommend hearing before purchasing 300B amplifier.

Feel free to PM for further discussion.
