Up for sale is a special tube power amp that was built for me back in 2014 by Carver with my name on the power transformer. It is a great sweet amp. The amp started its life from an Ami Rowe Jukebox back in the days. I was told that the power transformer on this is the exact same as those found in the Marantz 5. It is currently has the KT88 Shuguang Treasures 50 years Anniversary version on it (500 hours of use) & 2 x GE 12AX7 tubes. I hardly use them in the past 3-4 years as my current speakers aren't efficient enough. I would say 88db @ 8 ohms & up will be best. It can accept output tubes from EL34, 6L6, 6550, KT66, KT77, KT88, KT90, KT120, KT150. With KT88 it output about 50 watts/ch with KT88, I would assume you get more power with KT150. I hate to let this go but it has been sitting & collecting dust. For serious buyer, I can send some videos & additional pictures upon request.
